(There are more worlds ahead of the stars)- Allama Iqbal

On 15th May 2013 UPA-2 completed its four years, its nine years for Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh. In celebrating this event, after dinner party he spoke to journalists and quoted this couplet of Mohammad Iqbal,“Sitaron se aage jahan aur bhi hain” which made me to share complete ghazal here which inspires to not limit yourself and work hard to achieve your goals. For more on this,“Inside Sitaron Se Aage”

There are more worlds ahead of the stars,
There are still more tests in love to surpass.

This environment is not because of this life,
There are hundreds more caravan to rife.
Don’t be satisfied with the world of color and scent,
There are other gardens, other dwellings for content.

What if a home is lost, why to be sad,
There are more places to lament and feel bad.

You are a falcon, your task is to fly,
Before you there are to cover more sky.

Don’t remain entangled in this circle of day and night,
There are more places and destinations for your sight.
Gone are the days when I was alone in the gathering,
Now here are more secret-sharers in my surrounding.
